8 Indian Colleges Make Global Top 100 for Entrepreneurship

In PitchBook’s 2026 ranking of universities producing venture-backed founders, IIT Bombay ranked 22nd globally, the highest among Indian institutions. Eight Indian universities made the global top 100, including IIT Delhi (27), IIT Madras (48), IIT Kharagpur (49), IIT Kanpur (50), Delhi University, University of Mumbai and BITS Pilani.
