What Happened

Hyderabad-based AIG Hospitals will invest ₹2,000 crore over the next five years to build a 1,000-bed greenfield multispeciality hospital in Visakhapatnam. The project, being developed in two phases, will include a nursing college, paramedical training centre, research lab, AI centre and academic facilities. The first phase with 650 beds is expected to become operational by October 2028.
