Apple Brings Its AI Features To China With iOS 27.3
What Happened
Apple will begin testing Apple Intelligence in mainland China through the iOS 27.3 developer beta on November 4, with the public iOS 27.3 release planned for December 2026. Initial features include Writing Tools, notification summaries, Visual Intelligence, Live Translation and photo Clean Up. Apple has partnered with Alibaba to integrate its Qwen AI model into selected experiences including Siri, Writing Tools and Visual Intelligence. The newer Siri AI announced at WWDC 2026 is not included in this initial China rollout.
