The Gujarat government has begun construction of an ₹80.25-crore Yatri Niwas in Ayodhya to provide accommodation and facilities for devotees and tourists from the state. The project, being developed by the Tourism Corporation of Gujarat Ltd (TCGL), will accommodate 308 people and include a hall with seating for 864 visitors. The complex will feature rooms, a visitor lounge, auditorium, dining facilities, souvenir shop and other modern amenities, and is expected to become operational within a year.
