Centre, Six States Join Hands on Yamuna Rejuvenation Project
What Happened
The Centre and six Upper Yamuna basin states, Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Himachal Pradesh, Haryana, Rajasthan and Delhi, signed an agreement for the long-pending Kishau Multipurpose Project in the presence of Amit Shah. The project aims to improve water storage, strengthen water availability, and support the rejuvenation of the Yamuna River.
