Delhi Airport Plans Driverless Transit Network to Link Terminals by 2030
What Happened
Delhi International Airport Ltd (DIAL) plans to build a ₹3,500-crore Automated People Mover (APM) system by 2030 to connect Terminals 1, 2 and 3, along with Aerocity and the cargo terminal. The 7.3-km driverless transit network will have six stations and cut travel time between T1 and T3 to around 13 minutes.
