What Happened

"1945: World War II officially ended when Japan signed formal surrender documents aboard the USS Missouri in Tokyo Bay (V-J Day). 1960: The first election for the Tibetan Parliament-in-Exile was held in India, now observed as Democracy Day by the Tibetan community. 1666: The Great Fire of London began on Pudding Lane, burning for three days and destroying roughly 10,000 buildings. 2013: India Launches First Aircraft Carrier Built Domestically INS Vikrant, India's first indigenously built aircraft carrier, was launched, marking a milestone for Indian naval capabilities.
