"1822: Brazil officially declared its independence from Portugal 1901: The signing of the Peace of Peking (Beijing) formally ended the Boxer Rebellion in China. 1931: Second Round Table Conference Begins. The Second Round Table Conference opened in London, with Mahatma Gandhi representing the Indian National Congress. The conference focused on India's constitutional future and minority rights. 1191: The Battle of Arsūf took place during the Third Crusade, where Richard I of England defeated Saladin's forces."
