1942: Flag Hoisting at Lahore Jail: During the peak of the Quit India Movement, freedom fighters Bibi Amar Kaur and Satyavati defied British authorities by successfully hoisting the Indian national flag on the gates of Lahore Jail. 1970: Breakthrough in Nuclear Science: Scientists at the Bhabha Atomic Research Centre (BARC) in Bombay successfully produced Uranium-233. 2006: Google Acquires YouTube: Google announced its landmark corporate acquisition of YouTube for $1.65 billion. 1967: Che Guevara Executed in Bolivia: The Argentine revolutionary and Marxist leader was captured and executed by the Bolivian Army, marking the end of one of the most influential revolutionary movements of the 20th century. 2006: North Korea Conducts First Nuclear Test: The test heightened tensions in East Asia and led to international sanctions.
