What Happened

2023: Chandrayaan-3 Lands on the Moon. Chandrayaan-3 achieved a successful soft landing near the Moon's south pole, making India the first country to do so and the fourth nation to achieve a soft lunar landing. 1939: Nazi Germany and Soviet Union Sign Molotov-Ribbentrop Pact 1990: Armenia voted to declare independence from the Soviet Union, becoming one of the republics that helped hasten the USSR's collapse. 1990: German Reunification Announced, East and West Germany officially announced that reunification would take place on 3 October 1990, marking a major Cold War milestone.
