What Happened

1932: The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia was officially unified and proclaimed by King Abdulaziz (Ibn Saud), celebrated annually as Saudi National Day. 1965: Indo-Pak War ceasefire comes into effect. Following UN intervention, India and Pakistan agreed to a ceasefire, ending the 1965 war. 2009: ISRO successfully launched OceanSat-2, a satellite designed for ocean and weather monitoring. 1889: Nintendo was founded by Fusajiro Yamauchi in Kyoto, Japan, originally producing handmade hanafuda playing cards.
