Former Prime Minister of India, noted economist, former RBI Governor, and architect of India's 1991 economic reforms was born. 1985: India's ""Payyoli Express"" P.T. Usha clocked 11.39 seconds in the women's 100m at Jakarta, setting a record and further cementing her status as India's track legend.
