What Happened

1940: The Tripartite Pact was signed in Berlin, officially creating the Axis powers alliance between Germany, Italy, and Japan during World War II. 1996: The Taliban seized control of Kabul, Afghanistan's capital, establishing strict Islamic rule across the region. 1907: One of India's most revered revolutionaries, Bhagat Singh, was born in Banga (now in Pakistan). His role in the freedom struggle made him an enduring symbol of patriotism and sacrifice. 1925: Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) Founded. The RSS, one of India's most influential socio-cultural organizations, was established in Nagpur. 1995: Mobile Phone Services Begin in Delhi. Cellular phone services became operational in Delhi, marking a major step in India's telecom revolution.
