India, Uzbekistan Elevate Ties to Comprehensive Strategic Partnership

During PM Narendra Modi’s state visit to Tashkent, India and Uzbekistan agreed to deepen cooperation across trade, investment, defence, digital connectivity, energy, critical minerals, healthcare and education. The two countries also decided to elevate their relationship to a Comprehensive Strategic Partnership and set a target of $5 billion in bilateral trade by 2030.
