Make in India Milestone: INS Nipun Enters Naval Service

The Indian Navy has commissioned INS Nipun, the second indigenously designed and built Diving Support Vessel (DSV) of the Nistar-class, at Mumbai’s Naval Dockyard. Built by Hindustan Shipyard Limited (HSL), the vessel is designed to support deep-sea diving, underwater intervention and submarine rescue operations.
