After the great Kurukshetra war, the Pandavas renounced their kingdom and began their final journey to heaven, known as the Mahaprasthanika Parva. One by one, Draupadi and the Pandava brothers fell along the difficult path through the Himalayas. Only Yudhishthira continued walking. A stray dog quietly followed him throughout the journey.
