India is set to host the BWF World Championships 2026 in New Delhi from August 17-23, marking the country's return as host after a 17-year gap since Hyderabad staged the event in 2009. The tournament draw has been announced, Ayush Shetty faces defending champion Shi Yuqi, while PV Sindhu opens against Sophia Nobel and Lakshya Sen will take on Austria’s Collins Valentine Filimon in the opening round.
